Kasoozo was the second community that we supported, and the completion of this well was in partnership with the students of East Canton School District in Osnaburg Township, Ohio. The village of Kasoozo is home to more than 1,000 individuals, with a surrounding population of more than 500. Previously, the community journeyed more than 3 miles into the jungle to fetch water from a spring well shared with wild animals. The children were at risk of being kidnapped and bitten by venomous snakes. The community no longer uses this water source, thanks to you all. We were able to build them a modern solar-powered well! This solar-powered well is able to output more than 10,000 liters of safe, clean drinking water every day for the community.
